Despite the smile, Timmy wasn't that happy with walking around this morning. He does enjoy his walker, though. When he first used it yesterday, I don't think he realized what it was and just sat in it to watch some Robin Hood. Eventually, mommy helped him move around a bit, and he really got into the swing of things. He doesn't move forward nearly as well as he moves backward, but he moves.

It was a 5:45 wakeup call for the house this morning. We were all going to go for a morning run, but the fog was too thick (part of our route is on a narrow, but frequently-used farm road that can be dangerous if you can't see what's coming).

The house looks like it's been centrifuged, now. All the furniture in the living room and dining room has been moved against the walls to give Timmy the most space for walking around in.

Doug and Savannah,

Little ones will usually start off going backwards in a walker, that's just the way their little legs move. Eventually they begin to move forward, especially when they see something interesting or something they want.
