It's a 4-day weekend today, so Mommy's home! That, of course, means Timmy is in a great mood and the morning is going smoothly. Today we're taking Timmy to the Volksfest- Schweinfurt's summer fair/festival. Also, we're picking up a new piece of kitchen furniture that Savannah won in an e-bay auction- It's a buffet and hutch-style cabinet. It's a lighter color wood with stained-glass windows on the upper cabinet part. It is very nice looking.Tomorrow we'll take a trip to Heidelburg as an overnighter- it'll likely be our last trip before Norway in June.

Volksfest. The family visited this fair this evening. We had a pretty good time- Brauhaus Schweinfurt makes a special beer for the festivities. Also, they had evil-looking goat-men walking around (hence, the picture). I don't know what they're supposed to symbolize, but it's hard to deny their distinctiveness.
