Road trip! Daddy and Timmy were on the road for a lot of today, looking at a couple of houses in Ypsilanti, one down in Clinton (south of Ann Arbor) and finally one in Pinckney. Timmy had a very rough night last night, though. He woke up around 2 and wouldn't get back to sleep until around 3:30. Timmy's had a low-grade fever (98 to 99 degrees) for the last few days and his nose and eyes have been pretty runny. To look at the way he runs around, though, you wouldn't really know that Timmy was sick at all. Unfortunately, the eye goop and snot dries on his face quickly and also makes his face sore and raw. The more it gets cleaned, the redder his face gets. But it's tough to keep his face dirty, too, so it's a lose-lose situation.
Timmy did very well in the car, though. I think keeping his activities light for a day or two is good for him- he snacked on rice cakes throughout the day (not counting lunch) and drank his milk and prune juice en-route as well. He had a good time running around a couple of the houses we went into, too. By the end of the day, he was tired and got to sleep around 7:30 (after a good half-hour of fussing).
