OK, I've said it before and meant it, and I'll say it again, Tim's a genius.
He hasn't been here for quite awhile, but as soon as he stepped in the front door, he went up the stairs, headed straight for the sideboard, pointed at his mom's picture, and said, "Mama!" using his whole face to smile.
OK, it doesn't take a genius to miss your mom, but he's a genius for remembering where her picture is.
This morning, Tim's eating breakfast with Mama. I took the picture down so he could hold it and look closer at it. Bite, point, "Mama," bite, point, "Mama", etc. Tim ate Triscuits, toast with butter, and half an orange this way. When he was finished, he brought the picture back to me, pointed and said, "Mama" six more times, with a smile on his face, then left the picture with me for safe keeping.
Now he's off playing doing Tim-things while talking Tim-talk non-stop. I'm not sure what he's saying, but I'm sure it's brilliant
