This was not the picture I really wanted to use today- the one I really wanted to use was of a broken dish, shattered around spilt food. Timmy today decided he didn't want his dinner, so instead of sitting there patiently while Daddy got done doing what he was doing, he piece-by-piece littered the floor with chunks of chicken and green beans. When he exhausted his food supply, he then chucked his fork and spoon on the floor. Finally, when those were down, he threw his plate on the floor (which, of course, broke). Where was daddy during all this? Well, nearby and in a position to hear all this, but in no position to do anything about it. Nonetheless, Timmy got two whaps on the diaper and a long timeout. We'll see if this works at curbing his throwing reflexes again.

Today Timmy spent most of the day at daycare, as Daddy had to go in and fulfill day 1 of his National Guard duties. Unfortunately, this meant a lot of driving, which also meant an early morning. And it'll be the same story for tomorrow, too.

I hate to say it but Timmy has your temper. Sarah was telling me how well Timmy could toss things across the room when hearing her tell him no. I did tell her you gave him timeouts for throwing tantrums, and other items, maybe a some consistancey between daycare and home will help? Good luck, it really must be that Gossiaux temper!!
