One thing about being back: Greta has a new friend. When we left last fall, Timmy wasn't nearly as mobile as he is now. Even then, Timmy wasn't as interested in the cat, either. Now, Timmy can run, and Greta is learning that she needs to, too! Aside from mimicking her sounds (Meow... meow...) and sharing his toys (see the picture), Timmy likes to identify facial features (her eyes, nose and ears) and pull at her tail. For her part, Greta is taking it well. She just lets Timmy play, and when she's had enough, she walks away.June 24, 2009

Greta used to share her toys with me. Does she bring Tim dead mice, too? Let's hope not.
