AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH! Me want peanut butter jelly!!
Tim scared the heck out of Momma last night. He woke up around one in the morning, fussing. When Momma got there, he was in mild convusions and almost looked like he was choking on something and holding onto his Moo for as much moral support as he could get. Before Momma could even panic, a blob of rancid lentil soup the consistency of overcooked oatmeal rolled out. Then another. And another.
The room instantly reeked of a sharp rotten vinegary smell - which was passed onto anything it touched. By the time it was over, it was all over his bed, blanket, and Moo. After the fountain action was complete, Tim went back to being his happy self again. Momma was able to put all the soiled items into a bag and seal in the smell.
Unfortunately, Moo was in that bag, too, which distressed Timmy a great deal. No amount of hand scrubbing was going to get that stuff out. The only way to reassure him was to calmly explain that Moo was sick and Momma had to take care of him that night - and that he'd be all better tomorrow. Timmy looked very concerned and repeated slowly, "Moo? Sick?" He accepted this explaination and went to bed with just Bear for company.
This morning, Momma and Timmy slept in to recover for the night's misfortune. Timmy went to a "play day" with Mrs. Unize. It's an activity, sponsored by the Child Development Center, where people bring ther younger kids and they all get together and play in the school gym. While they're running around playing, there are a bunch of child specialists, psychologists, doctors, and whatnot who watch the kids play and screen them for developmental disorders (like autism, learning disabilities, and such). Tim is a well-adjusted almost two-year-old. I guess Timmy didn't raise any red flags - except for being the cutest one there, of course!
Timmy was excited to see Momma when she picked him up from daycare. We stopped by the commissary to pick up some green bananas (we pick up greener ones now, so they last longer - thanks for the tip), milk, prune juice, wop cake ingredients, and some snacks.
Just before bed this eveing, Momma and Timmy walked into the laundry room. Timmy was distractedly brushing his teeth and holding onto his new banana. Then out of the dryer, Momma pulled an all-better stuffed cow. Timmy's eyes doubled in size as his jaw dropped. He put down his toothbrush and banana and shouted "MOO!" with his arms spread wide for the boy and cow reunion hug. There may even have been a tear of joy in his eye.

You know, Savannah, maybe you should go out to dinner more and leave the cooking to Doug when he gets back...just kidding. Poor, Tim! I'm glad he and Moo are all right.
