...3 days and a wake-up...

Timmy and Gretta are becoming best buds - especially when it comes to getting into trouble. After ten minutes or so of trying to figure out the crazy German door handle, he gave up and checked out the framing of his daycare art work. We figure that his very first work of art should be proudly displayed for years to come (especially in a few years when he starts bringing girls home)!

Timmy was very excited to go to daycare today. He ran from the car, around the corner, up three flights of stairs, and rand the doorbell. When it opened, he ran inside and started playing with the little girl who was already there. He hardly paid attention to Momma giving him a kiss and saying bye-bye. It's one of those things that makes a Momma happy and breaks her heart all at the same time.

This evening, we got a phone call as we were walking in the door. It looks as though Momma is going to spend the next few weeks helping a couple of kids who just lost their Daddy. Poor Timmy was a little neglected during all of the phone calls, but he and Momma did alot of hugging afterward and talked to Timmy's Daddy on the phone. We're anxious to have Daddy home soon.

Hey, Tim! Send some of that art work Grandma and Grandpa's way, OK? We'll framed it and hang it next to the Picasso and van Gogh prints Aunt Sami got in Chicago last week.
