Today for the Fourth of July, Timmy wore his most patriotic outfit. We spent most of the day playing in town here, bringing Timmy down to the park and watching him crawl up the jungle gym, then subsiquently slide down the slide, over and over again. There was a little German girl there, too, who Timmy was pretty fascinated with.
At night, we went on to post where a huge 4th of July celebration was taking place. They had concerts and games and rides and plenty of food and beer. After dark was when the fireworks started. Unfortunately for Timmy, he didn't take a very good nap and the fireworks didn't start until 10:30. When they did, he was pretty startled by them and preferred to huddle in close to Mommy and Daddy instead of sit and watch the show. Oh well.
