Well, it is about a week early. On Timmy's birthday we will be on our last Europe family trip, so Momma and Daddy decided to give Timmy his party a weekend early so we could do it right.
Timmy went to sleep for his nap, not expecting anything. Meanwhile, Momma and Daddy scrambled to bake chocolate cupcakes with chocolate frosting (exactly what Timmy asked for), decorating cupcakes, wrapping presents, putting together a tricycle, and making the party room look nice. Timmy actually woke up a little early, and Daddy had to put on some stall tactics while Momma was frantically finishing up downstairs.
Timmy was sooooo suprised. He grinned so big while Momma and Daddy sang Happy Birthday - he even remembered the words. Then he stuck his fingers all in the frosting (it's his cake after all) and blew out the candles.

I loved the laugh and the "bye bye" after blowing out his candles. That kid is just too cute! We hope he enjoys his tricycle and Mr. Potato Head.
Happy Birthday, Tim! We're havig cake here on the 21st (American birthday) in your honor.
We're giving the left over cake to Jack on the 25th, which is his 2nd birthday, too.
