The progress continues! After waking up with a (very) wet diaper this morning, Timmy used his potty not once, but twice before naptime, keeping his underpants dry the whole time. As a reward, Daddy has invited catastrophe by letting Timmy take his nap with his "big boy" pants on. We shall see how this progresses.
Timmy's reward system for going potty has gotten a bit more complex. There are 2 main types of gummy snacks- small ones that are softer, and larger ones that are harder. The larger ones are in the shape of dinosaurs- "Dinosaur special treat", to Timmy. Well, as you can imagine, when Timmy sits on his potty, he asks for the "Dinosaur special treat" specifically- it didn't take him long to identify the difference. So, now for sitting on the potty, Timmy gets a small special treat. For using the potty, he gets a dinosaur special treat.
It'll be interesting to see how well this holds up in Rome. We'll be leaving the house incredibly early, so this will probably be the last blog post until we get back.
