Since getting his "big boy bed", Timmy has ever so slowly tested the waters of escaping after bedtime. At first, it was just throwing things out of the crib, then slowly going to get them. Recently, he's gotten to the point where he'll leave his room and start playing in Mommy and Daddy's room (adjoining rooms). Unfortunately, if he strays any farther, he'll start going down the stairs. The heavy objects we put in front of the door only work so well- and even when he's stuck inside, he still likes to get up and play with everything he can find in his room. This has made recent bedtimes extend quite a bit... adding a good 45 minutes every night.
Earlier today we went for a walk, all 3 of us. The picture is of Mommy and Timmy walking up the hill behind our town.
