Today, Mommy and Timmy left Germany to come back to the states! Daddy was waiting for them in the baggage claim area at Metro airport. As soon as they cleared the doors, Mommy off-loaded the carry-on bags and Timmy said, very hoarsely, "Daddy?" with a smile. Timmy lost his voice yesterday as a result of this cold that he and Mommy have had.
Timmy was so tired by the time we got into the car, he was sleeping within a minute. At the apartment, he slept through getting his diaper changed, and didn't even know he was being moved to his new "cars" bed. No fever, fortunately, so he didn't need to be woken up for Tylenol.
The problem came around 2 in the morning, when Timmy decided he had had enough of sleeping and it was time to explore his new home. Unfortunately, no amount of coaxing or pleading would get him back to sleep. By 3, though, we were able to convince Timmy to go back to bed and, after staying silent for 5 minutes or so, get him back to sleep.
He woke up for the morning around 7:45 or 8:00. Still hoarse, but still no fever.
