After this weekend, things should settle down somewhat and daily posts should begin again.
Over the last week and a half, Timmy has had cold-like symptoms- a cough, mainly, at first. It was a dry cough, so I thought it was because the apartment was dry. After buying a humidifier, there was no improvement. The cough was keeping him up at night, but he didn't have a fever or anything else wrong.
Eventually, he was able to sleep a couple of nights through the coughing, but a couple nights ago Timmy's cough got more congested-sounding and he ran a little bit of a fever... 100.5. A bit of tylenol took care of it quickly, but the coughing continued and we had another long night.
Finally, I took him to the doctor today. Just as I suspected, it's only a cold and, aside from giving Timmy something to help with the cough (which he did), the doctor said there wasn't anything else to do but wait it out. Oh well.
He did say that Timmy could get the seasonal and H1N1 vaccines as soon as he's feeling better, though!
