This has been a rough week. Last night, Timmy went to bed quickly, only to wake up around 10:30 and refuse to go back down. Eventually, he slept in Daddy's bed, but only after a good half-hour of tossing and turning. Finally, around 6:15 he woke up for good. The morning activities weren't too rough- some yogurt (in the picture), cereal, getting dressed and heading to daycare. This afternoon went fine, too- Although Timmy got grouchy a few times when he didn't get what he wanted quickly enough (leading to a time-out and not getting what he wanted at all).
Tonight, Timmy did not go down so easily. He sat in bed for about 10 minutes, then decided he wanted Daddy in the room. As soon as I got there, he tossed Moo, Teddy and his milk on the floor, in that order, then followed up with asking for each one back in his bed. Of course, he didn't get any of them for awhile and ended up crying for a good 5 minutes. Eventually, I brought them back in and warned him they'd be gone for good if he threw them again. He's quiet now.

I read a great quote today, "A toddler's primary job is to rule the world." I thought it was funny, but Doug probably doesn't at this point.
