Yesterday we went shopping to buy Timmy some new gloves and a hat- we originally picked out some black ones, then Timmy saw the "choo choo" hat and nothing else would do. Timmy's been getting into the habit of saying "I want" when he wants something- a habit that's becoming increasingly hard to break. As a result, he's been in a bad mood the last couple of days, since he's not often getting what it is he wants.
This morning Timmy woke up and used the potty- right away! It didn't take 20 minutes of trying to convince him to go before he'd go- just on, go, and done. Of course, during one of his time-out sessions this morning, he got so upset he wet his underpants (and, therefore, the couch) and had to be cleaned up.

I haven't had much success getting Tim to wear a hat or mittens in the past. It wouldn't matter to me if he wore pink hat and mittens as long as he wore something when it's freezing outside!
