This picture was supposed to be far more impressive than it is- Timmy had just gotten that left knee all the way under him and looked like he was going to push forward. Unfortunately, he didn't put enough pressure on it and it just slipped out from under him. After that, he got pretty grumpy and just pushed himself backwards with his hands until he was fully underneath the computer desk (about fifteen feet behind him).
It's day 2 of 'bachelor week'. I think we're going to go to the store and buy some flowers today. The violas we planted in the front window boxes aren't coming up, so we're going to have to cheat and plant already-bloomed flowers.
Timmy started out the day in a very good mood- usually when he wakes up in the morning, he's pretty grumpy coming out of the crib and getting his diaper changed. Today, not so much. Unfortunately, as soon as I set him in his swing so I could mix a bottle, the waterworks began. It remains to be seen how well his mood will improve throughout the day. This may call for an early nap.
