For the first time in months, Timmy woke up in the middle of the night last night (well, 2:57 a.m., to be precise) looking for food. This is strange, because not only did he eat very well for dinner the night before, but he took a whole 6-ounce bottle right before bed. This also made sure that Timmy woke up later than normal this morning (about 7:45) and screwed the schedule all up.

We started out with cereal for breakfast this morning instead of the bottle, and then Timmy got a small bottle before an early nap-time. After yesterday's marathon-like 3-hour nap, I figure he's probably going through a growth spurt, like Aunt Beth suggested yesterday, and could probably use a little extra shut-eye.

The other hypothesis is some sort of seasonal-defection-disorder. Yesterday afternoon was sunny and warm (about 65 degrees), and Timmy was very content. We ran a long distance and he was happy to sit and play in his stroller while Daddy cleaned out the car for the first time in forever.

Today, however, is grey and rainy and windy.

After some work yesterday, I was able to get Timmy into a hands-and-knees position for crawling (at first, I had to move his knees under him, but eventually he caught on and started trying, albeit unsuccessfully, himself). That is the small picture here. Even though he didn't get into the position himself, I consider it a success still, as he was content to sit there and rock back and fourth for upwards of 30 seconds- and he was happy about it, too!
