I have noticed a disturbing trend, though. As little as a month ago, Timmy was regularly waking up at 7 in the morning. Slowly, this wake-up time has gotten earlier and earlier, so that all last week and until yesterday, he was waking up at 6 when the church bells rang. Yesterday he woke up at about 5:45, and today, 5:30. I think it's the sunshine that enters his nursery window, but since we don't have any blackout curtains, blinds or shades on the window, we're kind of stuck. So I have him watching Robin Hood for awhile until we get a bit closer to his normal wake-up time.
Timmy and Daddy have a very busy day ahead of us today. We've got grocery shopping to do (it is payday, after all) and a package to ship. While we're on post, we'll probably check the mail, too, and browse the PX (although they rarely have anything new). Then when Mommy gets off of work, we'll take her to dinner and go bowling afterward. Mommy has to work all night, so we're keeping her company for a little bit. This will be Daddy's first time bowling since Timmy grew heavier than the bowling ball.
Tomorrow or Saturday we'll take a little trip to Bad Kissingen to pick up an e-bay purchase. Mommy bid and won some very old wardrobe doors that she has plans for. They came very cheap- about ten euro.
Today's picture is of Timmy watching Robin Hood and playing in his harem of toys.
7:51 a.m.: I don't think today is going to be my day. I tried putting Timmy down for a nap a half-hour ago, only to listen to him cry for 10 minutes before I went up to rock him to sleep. He got to sleep twice on my shoulder before finally going down "for good" the third time. (The first time, he woke up when he crapped his pants, the second, when I wasn't careful enough putting him in the crib). Then, a mere 2 minutes after walking downstairs, he started screaming again. Fortunately, it sounds like it was an isolated incident and he's asleep again. Which is good, because trying to sing "One for my baby" in a near-whisper for a half-hour takes a toll on your vocal cords.
9:55 p.m.: Timmy's asleep.

Not to be a crazy Aunt.. and I'm sure not a health care professional, but if his reflux is acting up, laying down is going to agrivate it and maybe sucking on the paci makes the reflux go back down easier?
Yeah, and I try to give him some time after eating before I put him to bed. Usually he's in his walker or sitting with his toys after a meal.
