At first I thought Timmy was just learning how to throw a tantrum and was entering that phase, but now I've decided he's just become far more emotive. When he's in a good mood, he's much more likely to be chatty, playful and energetic. When he's in a bad mood, he fusses and crabs and, occasionally, throws a tantrum. I'm not sure if it's good or bad... it just is.
Timmy's picked up a couple new tricks that for one reason or another he never acquired as an infant. First, he learned how to stick out his tongue. I had a picture of it, but I'm not sure where it went to. Maybe I'll upload it tomorrow. The second new trick was pointing. After Grandma Gossiaux pointed things out on a toy of Timmy's this morning, I saw him gaze at his hand as he slowly formed a "point" with his index finger. As he pointed to stuff, I'd tell him what they were. Later on in the morning, we were "pointing" at things on the 'fridge, too.
New words keep flowing. I'm not sure anymore what's new and what is just a refining of babble- words he had previously tried to say but just wasn't developed enough to. At any rate, his vocabulary is probably around two dozen words by now. A far cry from the one or two of a few weeks ago!
